ROCHON LAKE - Polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulphides
Located 280 km NE of Stony Rapids, SK in southeastern Nunavut, the Rochon Lake deposit occurs at the western end of the Ennadai Lake Greenstone Belt.  The property was discovered and drilled by Gulf Minerals who defined a non-43-101 compliant resource of ~1.0 MT @ 1.97% Cu and 2.06% Zn.  The deposit was drilled to a depth of 150 m and is open at depth and on strike to the east.  It occurs above felsic volcanics at the top of a dominantly andesitic greenstone sequence, immediately below the contact with overlying metasediments (turbidites).
